Smead’s Steel Hanging File Folder Frames allow you to set up your legal size files in older file cabinets at a reasonable cost. Smooth-edged side rails are scored in 1/2” increments to adjust the length from 23” to 27” to fit in your existing file cabinet. Heavy gauge steel construction is easy to assemble and is long lasting. Some assembly required. Measure drawer before ordering to be sure it will fit. Side rails are scored every 1/2” and can easily be snapped off at the desired length between 23” and 27”. Slip one end of the side rail into the top edge of one frame end. Tighten bolt to secure the rail. Repeat on the other side of the frame end. Slide both rails into the other frame end and tighten bolts to secure. Place inside your file drawer and hang folders on the side rails.
